← Back to calculatorAcquisition Quest collects only what helps us provide your requested snapshot, preserve your scenario, understand whether the tool is useful, and send optional educational emails when you choose them.
The numbers, business details, ZIP code, and optional address you enter are used to calculate or personalize your results. A copy may be stored in your browser so your work remains available when you move between Acquisition Quest pages. Location information is kept with your private scenario and is not included in anonymous analytics events.
If you request a Deal Snapshot, we store your email address, the scenario needed to create the snapshot, and delivery information. We use that information to send the snapshot and restore your private saved scenario.
Buying tips are sent only when you select the optional consent box. Every educational email includes a way to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing does not prevent delivery of a snapshot you specifically request.
Acquisition Quest records basic actions such as visiting the site, starting or completing a calculation, requesting a snapshot, and viewing the report preview. Analytics events use a random browser identifier and do not include your deal numbers or email address.
We use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, and product analytics. Information is shared with them only as needed to operate those services. No internet service can promise perfect security, but we limit what we collect and protect administrative records behind restricted access.
When paid report generation is activated, the information you submit for that opportunity may be sent to an automated-analysis provider under Acquisition Quest instructions that restrict the analysis to the supplied packet and approved sources. We intend to store the resulting report, source records, delivery status, purchase entitlement, and the disclosure version you accepted so the result can be reproduced and supported. Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank credentials, complete tax returns, or other sensitive identifiers through fields that do not specifically request them.
You can clear your locally saved scenario by resetting the calculator or clearing browser storage. You can unsubscribe from optional emails using the link in those messages. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to support@acquisitionquest.com.
